So, finally I started my new academic journey for the Applied Mathematics PhD program. Well, I actually missed my first day of classes due to work-issues. One on my professor sent me a huge homework as a welcome gift. Let's see how I can hold up to my expectations. Also came across this nice piece of writing about one of the 2014 Fields Medal winner Maryam Mirzakhani This is one of the best line, > “You have to ignore low-hanging fruit, which is a little tricky,” she said. “I’m not sure if it’s the best way of doing things, actually — you’re torturing yourself along the way.” But she enjoys it, she said. “Life isn’t supposed to be easy.”
